The Magnolia Hotel, Houston is the former Post Dispatch Building. The building was hailed as one of the most impressive office buildings in the state when it was built in 1926 and remains one of the downtown area's most attractive historic structures. All exterior embellishments remain intact or were restored in a manner consistent with the original design to retain the building's historic significance and character.

Directions

From IAH Bush Intercontinental via Interstate 45 Southbound:

Exit airport property and follow the signs to I-45 South.
Continue on I-45 South into the Downtown area.
Exit I-45 South onto McKinney St. Exit (left hand side exit)
Ramp will put you on to McKinney Street.
Take McKinney to Louisiana St and take a left
Take Louisiana St to Texas and take a right.
The Magnolia is on the right at the corner of Texas at Fannin.

From Hobby (HOU) via Interstate 45 Northbound:

Exit airport property into Broadway Blvd. and follow the signs to I-45 North.
Follow I-45 North and exit onto Scott Street/Downtown ramp.
Follow the Downtown exit onto Pease street and continue for approximately 15 blocks.
Turn onto Louisiana Avenue and continue for 11 blocks.
Turn right on Texas Avenue and continue for 5 blocks.
The Magnolia is on the right at the corner of Texas at Fannin.
