CO2 Management & Carbon Trading
•
 Review how utilities are planning IGCC as a hedge against future CO2 controls even though the economics are hard to justify given uncertainty of timing and magnitude of those controls.
•
 Examine issues of siting CO2 storage areas and how to safely and permanently store carbon in depleted oil reservoirs, saline formations or to use CO2 to produce coal bed methane.
•
 Discuss the financial impact of trading carbon reduction credits.
